Deposits
A non-returnable, non-transferable deposit is required, of £50 per person per week (or part week) including children, which is credited to guest's account and is acknowledged with confirmation of booking together with insurance form. Please make all cheques payable to The Lake.
Please note - debit cards are free to use. Credit cards incur a charge of 2%.
Dogs
You are welcome to bring your dog, by prior arrangement. We ask for them to be kept on a lead at all times in the House and Gardens. They are allowed in your bedroom and the sun lounge only, and in the gardens under strict hygienic control. We do ask that you provide a sleeping blanket/bed (or similar) for your dog. We charge £8.00 per dog per day (food not included).
Car Ferry Breaks
All tariffs below are per person and include Breakfast in a double/twin ‘ensuite’ room and Car Ferry return based on 2 persons sharing room and minimum 2 persons travelling in one car (not more than 6 mtres long and 2.5 high). Travelling out and within the following dates below.
To book a ferry break you just need to tell us where you want to travel from,
approximately what time you want to travel, (subject to availability).
Boats travel every hour on the hour. We will take care of the rest and forward tickets to you, or arrange
to have them picked up at the ferry terminal if the booking is made at short notice.

Terms & Cancellation
Should it be necessary to cancel or cut short your booking for any reason at all after confirmation has been made,
the following charges will apply :-
14 – 21 days prior to arrival date and unable to re-let the room 50% of total amount
7 – 14 days prior to arrival date and unable to re-let the room 75% of total amount
1 - 7 days prior to arrival date and unable to re-let the room 100% of total amount.
We strongly recommend that guests arrange their own travel insurance or take advantage of the
holiday cancellation scheme that will be enclosed with the confirmation of all postal reservations.
